03/01 Dubai Day 1: At The Airport

On my way to the airport, I can’t help but remember the day I sent you and the kids to the airport during your last Vietnam trip. The funny thing is, both Elsa and me have only 2 luggage – 1 large and 1 small.

But you and the children have 3 large ones when all 3 of you are so small in size compared to me lolz…

I can still remember, how I book a grab, and head over to your Cck house, waiting anxiously under your block for you guys to come down. Even went to the lift lobby just to wait for you guys to come down

And because we have pushed your flights to an earlier date and you forgot the check in time is different, we end up having to wait a few hours till your actual flight time in the afternoon. And we ate A&W 1st at jewel B1 for breakfast

It was fun, when we bring the kids to play bouncing nets… it was the 1st time both Jayden and LinLin played so much with me and I felt much closer to them… when I asked them to get mummy to play together, I really thought “this is how it feels like being a father… the father of your cute children”

Then finally while waiting to part with you as your check in time is coming closer, we ate our last meal at Burger King. And we go for our last smoke together… at that time we are not together yet. So our last smoke together was very awkward remember? I couldn’t even hold your hands and give you my last hug and kiss before you go into the departure hall…

It was only after you came back from vietnam, then you gave me your 1st hug and kiss willingly, and told me you missed me so much… I can still remember you were wearing a lacy white sleeveless top with jeans. Although plain and simple, but you just look so beautiful to me…

Before I realized, Elsa and me has already checked in our luggage and went into the departure hall together with 3 more of her dance instructors colleagues.

For the rest of the time until we board the plane, I start being their errand boy and cameraman, helping them take photo and video for their video montage of this trip.

As I board the plane and look out of the plane window, I can only say 1 thing in my heart:

Goodbye my dear Em Yeu… I hope you will not miss me as much I missed you…
