Next Box of Promises?
I have been thinking ever since yesterday after I found out that you have started renovating the house.
Remember for the past month my biggest question was what is the safest way to pass you a message or give you the key to my Box of Promises?
I recall you telling me before that Kenny never open the letterbox, even for the Chua Chu Kang house. It will always be you who opens the letterbox
Perhaps, the best and safest way to pass you the key, is to mail to your 257 home.
There will be a few scenarios which might happen if I mail you the key:
1) Best case scenario – You open the letterbox and found my mail containing the goodbye letter, and the key. After reading my goodbye letter where I told u that as long as you don’t return me the key, I will stay out of your life, you will not tell kenny and keep quiet about the key.
2) Worst case scenario – Kenny is with you when you open the letterbox and saw my mail. But at most he will see the the goodbye letter that I have prepared and won’t make a big deal knowing that I will leave you alone from now on. And knowing you, you will never use the key and show him what I have kept on my box of promises
3) You have already rented out your house and tenant found my mail. Which most probably your tenant will just inform you that there is a mail for you and pass to you.
4) That bastard is the one who rented your house and found my mail. There is a chance he will guess that it is from me and open up without your consent to see what I wrote to you. His greatest fear would be me exposing his lies and how he has made use of us, separated us in order to protect himself and scam our money. But with only the goodbye letter, he won’t be able to know what exactly I kept in the safe deposit box, and he won’t be able to use the key without you. In that way, I can protect the money I have saved up for you and the children from him, including your birthday presents that I’m going to keep in there.
5) You found the mail and tell Kenny about it. And both of you go down to open my box of promises and laugh at me for my stupidity in keeping my promises to you… which I still will not blame you in the end
Because I am keeping my promises towards a woman I love, care for and want to protect her future. It is out of my one-sided willingness and my own choice. Even if you decided to hate me and blame me for life, and use the money for the benefit of your family or even on Kenny, go ahead.
Like I will say in my real letter in the safe deposit box, everything I’m putting in there will belong to you and you can use it for anything you like…
So Em Yeu, I just hope that you will accept what I told you in my goodbye letter and keep the key, even if you just want to keep me out of your life.

But in order for my promises to reach to you, I still need to find a safe deposit box which I can open and register you as the only person who can access the box without you being physically there when I apply for it.
After searching online for a long time, I finally found one which might let me rent a box without you being there.
It looks expensive, but because I have to register you without you being there physically and your signature, my choices are really severely limited…
But first, I have to check with them to make sure the same thing like Certis Jurong branch thing will not happen again, so I contacted them and here is their reply:
Okie, they claimed that I can open the box and register you 1st without you being present, so I’m going to check this safe deposit box out.
Hope this time it will work…
